dual boot system probs

ok i have winxp pro on my computer but i installed win home edition on another harddrive that i put in the comp(it was for another comp but i had to reformat on this comp because it was messed up) anyway i took the hard drive out once i had the base files on it(the ones it uses to install winxp after it restarts) and the computer still thinks its suposed to boot home edition(to try and install i think) and it wont let me choose xp(0 seconds for time). how can i get home edition to go away?

Re: dual boot system probs

Sounds like you need to edit the Boot.ini file and set XP pro as the default OS or remove the XP home edition line, HTH

Editing the Windows XP Boot.ini file
