*URGENT*monitor isnt working because of virus*URGENT*

i tried downloading doom 95 and it turned out to be a virus. now the light on my monitor is orange and all the button, all the monitor setting buttons blink and i was wondering how to fix this. also right before i installed doom 95 i createed a system restore point, so if i could get directions to get to the system restore point without using the mouse. just using the keyboard, because the computer still works i just cant see becuase the monitor isnt working. thanks.

try starting up in safe mode

tap the F8 key after the bio POST or comp logo before windows

choose to start safe mode then choose system restore

or from command prompt type:

%systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe

if restore doesnt clear it up you can try (also from safe mode options)

Boot the computer to Safe Mode options (F8 after BIOS) & choose:
"Enable VGA Mode".
Go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs.
Find your graphics card driver package & uninstall.
While in Control Panel, go to System, Hardware, Device Manager.
Expand (Click +) besides Display Adapter,
Right Click your graphics card, Choose Properties, Drivers, uninstall.
Reboot the Machine - It will re-detect your graphics card.
Then re-install the drivers.
