Re: how to screen shot a dvd?

yes, when you do a screenshot and copy it into a prog like paint, it is like a blackish box and if you leave mp10 open in the background, you can watch the film in ms paint, but this is not what you are trying to do lol. have you tried any other dvd players to do try !Quick Screen Capture here: http://www.etrusoft.com/download.htm
Also, did you pause the film before you took the screenshot?

Re: how to screen shot a dvd?

another option is to take a picture using a digital camera, but this way you may get some loss of quality

Re: how to screen shot a dvd?

ok, there are many other types of screen capture software, that is just one of them. Let me know how you get on.

I was trying to get a screenshot of the 3 mini coopers coming out of the tube on the italian job but i gave up!! lol

Re: how to screen shot a dvd?

Download a trial copy of CyberLink PowerDVD. Play your DVD, there is a box with a small camera icon on the control panel - which if you click will capture the screen at that point and copies it to your clipboard. You can then paste it a into any paint or photo programme. Hope this helps.
