mouse cursor movement every 60 seconds

For 3 weeks now, my wireless optical mouse cursor will suddenly move about 6 inches left on a diagonal path. This happens every 30-60 seconds. Sometimes the web page will scoll down about one inch too---but not always. No new RF devices are near the computer. Spyware and virus scans negative. Any ideas?

Re: mouse cursor movement every 60 seconds

try a normal mouse (if you can) just to see if it is the mouse or the computer, if it is the mouse, i would try changing batteries/charging and updating the drivers,
Please let us know how you get on,
Mike
