simsy Is a beginner here at D-A-L
copy files

when i try to copy a file to cd on windows xp ,when i click on where to copy in The copy items box which in my case is cd drive d a box pops up telling me D:\ is not accessable incorrect function can any one tell me whats wrong or how to fix it

Hello, Simsy.
I think you tried to copy files like you used to do when it's floppy.
But for copy to CD you need burning rom software.
I prefer Nero, it's pretty easy and convenient program, with good-looking intuitive wizard.

It sounds like she is using the built-in cd recording support in Windows XP. I prefer Nero to this myself, but just wanted to clarify that the support to use a CD in a similar fashion to dragging files onto a floppy is in fact a built-in feature.
