Windows XP popups

i installed a new windows xp on my desktop and i seemed to have download a popup program that i can not get rid of i need to know what to do to get rid of it the popups pop up 30 each time i close them.

If you have SP2 installed & the Firewall activated you should not have such issues.

You might also want to consider a third party Firewall for more control & configurability.

Regardless you should have SP2 & all subsequent Critical Updates from Windows Updates.
