Printer problems

I have an hp officejet d145 all in one. I keep getting an error that says that the computer is not connected. I can turn the officejet off and then on and everything is okay for a few minutes, then the same thing happens again. Win Error Reporting provides me with no help, but does have a short list of technical garb that I could provide.

Re: Printer problems

Is this a new problem? Was this working OK previously?

Verbatim error messgaes & logs would help us help.

Here is what HP offers:

HP Officejet d145 All-in-One

Re: Printer problems

It is a new problem, and everything was working fine before. I tried reinstalling the driver from the cd and still have the same problem. I hooked it up to my Toshiba laptop and everything works fine, but the stupid compaq crap @$$ desktop can't cooperate.
