hi all just done a new install on a friens pc and all is ok except that two keys have swapped places i.e. if you type shift and the @ key you get " and like wise if you use the shift key and " you get @ strange

the normal keys are ok 2 and '

any ideas thanks spud

If it dont fit...force it. If ya cant force it...get a bigger hammer. If it breaks...it probably needed replacing anyway.

If your Keyboard is showing the wrong characters i.e. " instead of @ and # instead of £

try left Alt/Shift

Or go Start - Settings - Control Panel - Regional and Language Options - Languages - Details - and check it's set for English UK keyboard
