Need help with reformatting my comptuer

Hi, Im trying to reformat my computer but im having some problems. The windows xp wouldnt boot up. I already went in my bios settings and change the primary boot device to CDROM but still it didnt work. Can someone please tell me how to fix this or is there others ways to reformat a computer??? hope i get a reply soon and thanks alot.

Its ok now. I just found out what the problem was. It was my USB keyboard, i just had to enable it at the bios settings. Thanks for helping anyway
