Another virus

Hi again everyone,
Ran an on line virus check and got the following...

C:\Documents and Settings\**********\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\javapi\v1.0\jar\sta ts.jar-2756a02c-69d1ed17.zip is infected with Trojan.ByteVerify

Looked up on Google for some advice... first advice said download later version of java, did that and still got the virus, then saw the below advice...

From the Start button, click Settings > Control Panel
In the Control Panel, open the "Java Plug-in Control Panel"
Select the Cache Tab
Click the Clear button inside the Cache Tab, which will clear your JRE cache directory

Now before I downloaded the later version I had a cache tab... now I have the later version the cache tab has gone!!

Any suggestions how to get the cache tab back... or is it called something else in the later version??

Zapped it... sorry moderators you can lock / delete this thread now... may be worth keeping up for someone else, here is what I done...

Dis-abled system restore (gutted cos I lost all my restore points), then control panel/java/delete files...... job done, nasty virus gone!
