PC wont turn off.

Hi everyone.

Just before easter I had problems shuting down my PC, (It wouldn't). In the end I had to PUSH the button. When I used it next all was fine, no problems shutting down. Today, the blinking thing wont shut down again.

Any ideas?

System:-
Windows XP Pro
Ver 2002
Sevice pack 2

Processor:-
Intel Pentium III, 797 MHz
RAM 384

Any other information required don't be shy to ask.

Have you added any hardware or software?

have you tried a system restore to before you had the problems?

Hi people. I am so sorry for the delay.

To be honest I can't remember what I did, if anything, but everything seems OK at the moment.

I do appologize for being so vague, but my memory is totaly shot. And I realy mean totaly shot.
