Re: InStalling Windows XP

i got that when trying to do a repair install... if you click ignore or skip or whatever it is, does it do the same with the next file?

i think i ended up turning it off and starting a clean install.

i would sugest you do the same (restart computer and try again)

if this doesnt work, go through the files it says it cannot coppy (clicking ignore) and then start again. Worked for me

Hope this helps,
Mike

Re: InStalling Windows XP

what do you mean by 'it made it a copy'?

do you have your s/n now?

and you are using the origonal disk now?
-that you got with your computer?
-or did you buy a new one?

you could try clicking browse and finding COLACT.DL_ (or .dll)
and double clicking it
im sorry, i do not have any other ideas

/Mike
