Blue Screen And Internal Tv Card

i have windows XP running.
I run an internal TV CARD "AVERTV" also.
My graphics card is NVIDIA GeFORCE@ MX/MX 400.

It often happens when i turn off the TV (in full screen mode) by my remote control.The computer hangs with a blue screen.

It says soiemthing about memory DUMP and problem with STREAM.SYS.

I have to reboot the system quite a lot.

WHY is it and WHAT is the solution?

Are you using SP2?


If you want to try and analyze the XP errors:

Go to start | search (type in) .dmp
Note the location of your .dmp files.

Then:

1) Download and install the
Debugging Tools from Microsoft
2) Download and install this
debugwiz
3) Open the Wiz & Browse to, or paste in the path to, your .dmp file.
4) After the Wiz creates a Text document attach it back to this thread.
