Formatting comp (xp)

Very simple question:

How do I format the C hard drive on my computer and install Windows back if I don't got any Windows XP installation cd or anything?

PS. Comp full of spyware. (no, I don't download porn 24/7)

Sorry if I put this in the wrong place.

Hi and welcome to D-A-L

if you format you'll loose all your data, did your PC not come with any recovery discs?

Re: Formatting comp (xp)

What is the exact make and model of the computer?

Most manufacturers offer their Recovery Disks for sale. Also there might be the possibility of a Recovery Partition on your hard drive via a hotkey. The manufacturers site should have this info.

Otherwise you would need to purchase an XP CD.
