Cant get rid of Task Manager

This is an odd one.

When i press Ctrl + Alt + Del for whatever reason- say to close a program, the program will close but the Task Manager will ermain there, and here is the strange part... there is no x in the top right hand corner to get rid of it!!!!

Any suggestions?

press Alt + F4, see if that closes it, i had that problem once cant remember what i did to fix it, think i just dragged things around until it came back.

aha, got it, where it says "End Task" to the left there is blank space, double click somewhere there.

Tried it last night- unfortunately it did not work. Instead it opened up another Task Manager box!

Double click on the border of your task manager. Your normal controls should reappear. The border is the thick, empty space along the sides of the task manager.
