Deleting

I have been trying to delete files and programs from my hard drive.

Whenever I do delete several files at a time, it has no effect on available space on the drive. This is very frustrating to say the least!

I assume it is keeping a copy of what I delete.

Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated.

Empty the recycling bin. Clear System Restore. Empty any third party backup or protection software.

Clean Disk. Defragment. Reboot.
