What are "Found folders" anf "File.chk" please?
Hi Folks,
I've just upgraded tp XP Pro from Win98SE.
I'm running a dual boot system, one for Online and general stuff and one dedicated to my Video Editing stuff.
However, I've just noticed that there are dozens, literally, of new folders on my discs called "FOUND" and they contains hundreds, literally, of Filexxx.chk things.
What does it all mean?
Is it serious?
How can I solve/avoid/get rid of it please?

.chk files are saved file fragments from CheckDisk.

Yes, you can delete these. Yes, you will get a window warning
you that they are System Files. Ignore and click Yes to all.
