Theme

Alright well, I'm really picky and I like my laptop to be exactly the way I want it and when I got it I made a custom theme that suited me and the laptop perfectly. Recently I modified the color a bit, but I didn't touch anything else and now when I get on a website (my mindsay or myspace for example) the backgrounds are the color I have for my background in windows like microsoft word instead of the pictures that are supposed to be there. i don't understand what I did.

List of things I've tried:
Restart computer (fixes everything right? heh).
Changed the theme to classic windows, silver, blue, olive green, and many others (same problem occures)
Asked all my friends (Apparently I don't know any computer geniuses)
Signed up for this and now turning to you. (PLEASE HELP ME!)

Firstly your XP settings should have no affect on web pages unless somehow you created your web pages using your XP settings


As this is a new problem try a System Restore to a point prior to the problem:

start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

I tried restoring to 5 or 6 different points, for some reason my system restore wont complete, I don't know why.

It has this problem with all websites, not just the ones I've created.
