I.E. freezing

Hey there whats up. Its been a while since I've been here but atleast I still remember where to get the best help around town!

I have a brand new DELL laptop, about 2...3 months old max. It came with Windows XP Media Centre Edition installed and Macafee Antivirus, additionally with my ISP I am able to access their spyware scan if I need it. Lately (in the past week or so) I realise that my computer has slowed abit, apparently my I.E keeps freezing. I did a complete system scan, both with MACAFEE and the spyware remover from my ISP plus with Adaware SE and Spybot S&D. Macafee came up empty but the spyware removers all came up with something eventhough I ran them one after the other. After running them, the system woud speed up but I.E. still freezes. After two days or so I run them all again, Macafee still comes up empty and al the spywares comes up with some stuff to erase. This puzzles me because I ran them all just a few days before and also because I run them back to back. How is it that I can run one spyware and then run another when the first is done and the second one still finds stuff on the cpmputer? Obviously then there may be other spywares hiding in it that causes my I.E. to keep freezing. How can I address this?

Re: I.E. freezing

As a first response you might want to post a HijackThis log for review by our Pros in that section:

Please follow the instructions HERE & then post your log in a new thread in the Spyware, Adware, Viruses and HijackThis Logs section.
(Not in this section please).

Please specify what issues you appear to be experiencing along with your log.
