Hi and welcome to D-A-L

by formatting your drive you'll loose everything on the PC.

have you tried this

Please follow the instructions Here and then post your log in a new thread in the Spyware, Adware section. (Not here please). with a brief explanation of what the symptoms are

that way you should hopefully keep all your settings

Hi,

If you wanna install WIN XP.
Press Del while rebooting & chang the first boot device to CD /DVD.
Save & exit

Insert the CD in our drive & follow the on screen instruction,
There a option will come asking you to completly reinstall WIN. accept it.
Also if you get an option of formatting your drives, do it.
In this way you will b able to start again from the beginning.
