My Keyboard

Hello, I run on a Dell Dimension 2400 PC and my keyboard has stopped working recently, Right now im plugged in through a special Keyboard adapter that makes your keyboard run though USB. But i cant get all the Special Functions on my keyboard to work (since its used to be plugged in back of my tower) and now that its in the front USB slot. And when i try to plug another keyboard into my keyboard plug (in back) it shows its on (if i press numlock, the light flashes on) but my keys do not work and i cannot type anything, I've tryed both keyboards i have in it and they dont work, I also checked Device manager and it wasnt reading that i had a keyboard plugged in (when i tryed back of pc again) , So is this just my PC's problem? Or is it something you guys can help me with?

Please help me fix my computer this is stopping me from enjoying my games when another key is pressed when im holding down a key, it cancels all the keys and whatever im doing stops please if theres anything you can do about this tel me please

Is this a new problem? Were things working OK previously? Any new hardware or software?

If this is a new problem try a System Restore to a point prior to the problem:

start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore


Is your rear port a PS/2 port? Are you booting with the keyboard attached?
