No sound

My sound just decided to not work anymore...when i try to go to the sound controls it says i have no media devices. Can some one help

what have you changed? if anything at all? what about when you go onto device manager any uninstalled drivers?

I downloaded a new sound driver(I think thats what it was) last night, the sound worked for about 5 mins then went back to how it was. When I click on the little speaker in the bottom right corner it doesn't bring up the sound control it just tells me I don't have a audio device installed.

What is the make and model of your computer?

The manufacturer will have the driver that you need.

If your computer was custom built you need the motherboard manufacturer.
