Unhappy mouse sluggishness

mouse sluggishness
I sometimes have trouble with my mouse pointer not reacting properly when i move the mouse in certain games. It always moves too slow so that i cannot point accurately at anything. The pointer always stays a second behind. What causes this? and how can I fix it? Thanx, Axel.

Re: mouse sluggishness

You could try start > Control Panel > Mouse > Pointer Options > Motion

Although it sounds more like the CPU is maxing out. You can monitor your CPU usage from the Task Manager.

Right click an empty area of the Taskbar (bottom) and choose Task Manager > Performance
