Outlook Express

Sometimes when my daughter sends me pictures in outlook express they appear as an empty square with a cross in the corner. Under veiw the option to click on blocked images is greyed out any ideas

have you got admin rights to the PC?

in Tools..... Options.......Security....is download images is block images ticked?

Yes I have admin right and there is no tick in block images

are these pictures attachments?

have you always had this problem?

is it just emails with pics from your daughter that has this problem?

is your daughter using OE, it could be that at her end.

ask her to try

Load Outlook Express 6. Click Tools -> Options. Next, click the Send Tab. Under the Mail Sending Format header, and ensure that HTML Button is highlighted as your mail sending format. Next, click on the HTML Settings Button, and ensure that SEND PICTURE WITH MAIL has a checkmark.
