Computer Running Really SLOW and lagging???
I recently got an error when I tried to load my computer it says:
The user's profile could not be loaded but has logged on as the default for the system.
DETAIL - Incorrect function.
So I did a few system restores and it made it even worse it had to remake the profile.
so what I did was take everything from my original profile and move it to the new one the system restore created.
Now when I log on it's slow and it says at the top loading settings something like
C:\Windows\System32\Updater.exe
then ZA asks me for permission for updater.exe to open explorer.exe I deny it because I don't know what it is so I did a check on google it says it's some type of spyware so I ran
AVG, eWido, eWido Online Scanner, Spybot, and Ad-AwarePE didn't detect it.
Then I ran a Hijack this log nothing was detected that I could see but I could be wrong.
Then I downloaded Avast 4 Home Edition and AntiVir XP but have yet to run them.
Just wondering what updater.exe is and if moving all the files from my original was the right thing to do or not?
