Shortcut to open several folders?

How can I make a shortcut that will open several My Computer folders please?

Thanks, appreciate the fast response. Some of those I'd already found by prior googling, and so far at least I haven't yet found what I'm after. The batch file approach looked promising, but - maybe I'm interpreting it wrongly - I end up with a set of DOS Command windows, not WinXP folders.

But one of those google search links prompted me to EXPAND my requirement to something more ambitious. I considered opening a new thread, but hope it's OK here. This is how I would now describe my request:

Does anyone know of a program that will save my current desktop? IOW, save (under a chosen name) whatever:

- Folders I have open and their positions, view settings (List/Detail/Thumbnails/etc)

- Whatever programs I have open, again with their positions and status (Maximised/Minimised/etc

Using that same application, I would then be able to restore those folders and programs to their captured states.

This would be extremely useful, such as when you're working on say word processing, with one set of folders and programs open, but then want to switch to graphic editing, requiring a different set. Quite a lot of clicking and keying is necessary to achieve that. Including
dragging and sizing the folders for optimum use. And it's pretty well the same each time you do it.
