shortcut keys dont work on my keyboard.

the windows shortcut keys(like strl c strl v ctrl x and ctrl w ) dont work on my laptop. iam working on with windows xp. is there some setting i need to change or accidentally did something get disabled . i really dont know please help.

You can check to see if your Sticky Keys have been turned on. Tap the Shift key at least five times in a row and the option should appear. Turn off if on.

Other settings might reside in your laptop. What is the exact make and model?
