Which Installer does Windows XP come with?

Hi

I need to know the version number please as when I run Office XP I get failure due to Windows Installer being not able to run with newer packages.

So anyone know the default?

Also, if anyone does know, what happens if you add Windows Installer 3.1 v.1 or v.2 into the computer?

Wow thanks to THIS SITE I've just been informed I require 50 security patches not yet downloaded.

Seems like I need another hardrive JUST for XP security patches.

I know I previously had v.1 and now I have v.2 of Windows Installer 3.1

This is the latest and best for XP Pro so I'm ok

Before I couldn't get onto the net at all - so I just managed to quickly "sneak" away from my virus and copy paste the this post question. But now all is much better and I've found what I needed.
