Youtube Help

When i go to Youtube to watch videos there is no sound, only pictures. I wrote to them but they think i mean when using my own videos. I only watch videos by other members.

I have tried turning up the sound on all my players and i have tried a different web site to test my speakers and they are fine.

I have tried returning my computer to a earlier date when Youtube worked but i can't.


If i totally reboot my computer Norton security goes out and leaves me with no security.

When i do go to Youtube and pick a video to watch. The video player comes up but the sound level meter is always down.


Can someone help please.

Hi, Yes this is my only audio problem.

I have tried other sites and the sound works perfectly.

When i totally reboot my computer Norton security is always uninstalled and when i do reinstall it, it never works again. well antivirus doesn't anyway.

Believe it or not but i have had three different Norton products since August. They still owe me £100 in refunds. And the site refund part has not worked for weeks!

My Norton 2005 renewel went with the first reboot. Then i purchased a more expensive download which broke down after rebooting yet again. Now i have a cd version from Pc World which if i reboot my computer again to get my sound back on Youtube, will most probably do the same again.

I have had this problem with Youtube twice before. And after rebooting always works.

All i can think is that there is another programme or download which is causing this.
