Re: Printer Control Panel Problems

Can't get to the add printer wizard because can't get the printer control panel to open up. As soon as you try to open the Printers & Faxes window in the control panel, the control panel goes into not responding mode. If you try to open the Printers & Faxes window from the start menu nothing happens at all.

I had to manually uninstall MSOffice by deleting the folder, deleting the registry keys, and deleting the office folder in the individual profiles, and reinstall MSOffice to get things working again which is leading us to believe that it is a problem with one of the Office Security Updates that was pushed down by the Network Control Center, so they are now looking into the updates.

Can't do that as the installation files are on the network so would at most need to do safe mode with network. And no, haven't tried that yet. So far it seems to be working again, though Word is still lagging slightly when you open a file.
