i use a program called windows registry repair pro

I used the program as pc was not running to well i had a few problems and could not downlaod exsplorer 7 but now i have a few problems i can not sort out quick time no longer works i use this program lots i have tried uninstaklling it and starting again but it now wont install at all

Does this Registry program have a backup feature? It should.

If so go back and restore.


Otherwise you could try a System Restore to a point prior to using the cleaner.

start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

thanks but have done both those things lots of times ha ha back and forth like a yo yo!! however i have now sorted out the quick time problem thanks but still have others!!

And what are the others?

the pther probelem i have are when i try to signe into msn messenger or icq it comes up saying that the application failed because mcrtl32.dll was not found and that i should reinestall the program however it still works allso i can not click on any link in my emails nothing works i have to forward mail to my other email acount before i can go to a web page or anything thats linked in the emails

For your OE problem:

Go to start Run...

And type:

REGSVR32 urlmon.dll

Press OK


For mcrtl32.dll (which is a McAfee file) you could try to download a new one here:

Or else repair or reinstall McAfee.

Ooo. I used this software about 8 months back and it destroyed my OS with the registry cleaning. I'd seriously recommend not to use this sort of software unless you know what you're doing as they usually work off white lists already defined. One mistake and your OS may never be bootable again.

I did the run REGSVR32 urlmon.dll thing it says it succeeded but still dont work lol also tried to download the mcrtl32.dll
file that dont seem to do much so i will reinstall mcfee thanks for your help at least i know what file it is now lol
