Power options missing!

Hi. I was cleaning my computer and axcedently deleted somthing for mistake.
Well then when i closed the lid of my lop top it didnt go to standby. So i went to the control panel and was going to change the settings (in power options, advanced) again but the only option was "do nothing" but before there always was "go to standby". Do anybody know where i can get it again? somewhere i can download it? or is that inpossible without formatting the computer? Glad for all answers!
