I have a sony laptop and recently went to look in the history file and temp internet file and cannot find them. What might have happened? I just also installed the new IE explorer as well. Is there a new way to look up these files? In the local sttings folder I only have a temp file.

You also now need to uncheck hide protected operating system files as well in the folder options. It will then be viewable in C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files etc.
