Computer wont work after new printer installed

Well i installed a new printer on for my comuter and when i restarted my computer it comes up a black screen and says i need a restore disk and i dont have one. I can get the safe menu to come up but cant go no futher goes right back to insert recovery disk. Any help would be appericated.

Can you select any option from the Safe Mode menu?

Last known good configuration?

If not you will need an XP CD. What was the original source of XP on this computer?

If it has a floppy drive you can access the Recovery Console with the Microsoft floppies:

Okay weirdness this happened a while back and i just hooked it up try and get things going and it started recovering itself. i have no clue i was hitting the f10 button and it started recovering and would never do it before.
