DCOM problem

Well, I fixed the RPC problem enough that most services now work. I still have a problem with DCOM preventing the Help and Support page from coming up. Does anyone know which services are supposed to be run by NT AUTHORITY? I can't find anything on it in my searches. The password of "password" seems to work fine. But I am still seeing the explanatory error in the event log for the DCOM service for Help&Support as follows:
' "The account specified for this service is different from the account specified for other services running in the same process. " attempting to start the service winmgmt with argument...'
I'd sure like to find a list of logon info for the services. All I can find is the usual enable/disable stuff. I can launch it from a command prompt using the NT AUTHORITY account using the "at" task scheduler command. But it would sure be nice to run it like you "normal" people . Any help is greatly appreciated!

Re: DCOM problem

Anybody?? Now I find my USB memory sticks will not work. All dependencies still claim the account specified is different from the account in other services. Must be something with NT AUTHORITY\LocalService. I still need that list of who runs what service.

Thanks.

Re: DCOM problem

I personally never heard of that, but I think I would consider reinstalling my system , as it might be a bit quicker. But that is a bugger if you have not got everything backed up.
