Re: POST error msg

Did this just start to happen? Was it working without this warning before? This generally will be from either Overclocking to settings not appropriate or else the RAM or CPU are sending signals the board is having troubles with. F1 is an error bypass.

In your manual:

http://dlsvr03.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/...i_series_b.pdf

It suggests in the Setup (Press <Del> during POST) Exit Menu to Load Setup Default

Re: POST error message

Go to the BIOS settings and restore the Default settings.

You should see that option probably on the General tab.

Re: POST error msg

I merged your threads. Please stay with one thread per issue. You never responded to this post of mine: Did you load you BIOS Defaults?

Re: My PC hangs at the Windows loading screen

I would suggest clearing your CMOS.

On some boards this is just removing the battery for a few minutes.

On others there is a 3 pin jumper to short and return.

The manual should have the instructions.

Unhappy Re: My PC hangs at the Windows loading screen

The problem now evolved !!!
The pc gets stuck at the 1st POST screen (the one wid ASUS logo wid the "press delete to access bios" option).

I can't do anything, even pressing "Delete" doesn't do anythin, jus stuck.
