Harddrive issues!

Im pretty sure its my harddrive since it is not the pupply supply that simply reboots. i have tried cleaning out my system and doing a system restore. i have disabled my automatic reboot when system has a failure. It seems as if it works one day then the day goes crazy. I have had many issues with this before. please help!

Check your hard drive's website. Most have diagnostic tools that will evaluate HD problems.

Thank you jephree for getting back, i remember trying this with the floppy before, couldnt understand why it kept saying NTF was not found, but i will look over this site and go step by step by it and let you know once i have got the diagnostic, hopefully I can find the real issue with my computer once in for all. Im also wondering, Do certain types of viruses cause random reboots? because i have tried cleaning and clearing everything out of my system, all the junk that was left on my computer. I used and downloaded the Ccleaner before and worked great for me. I did a disk defragment, disk cleanup, downloaded a anti-virus protection, AVG, ad-aware, and smartfraud which had a killing process, and got rid of alot of junk.

the site for seatools i have clicked on the site and downloaded the one for windows and its telling me my .NET FRAMEWORK needs to be 2.0 or greater.

You would be best off using the floppy or CD. In order to boot it outside of Windows.

However .NET Framework 2.0 (and 3.0) should be in Windows Update under the Custom heading.
