Windows Media Player

Can i remove completely the Windows Media Player without any adverse effects. The GOMPlayer.com is a much better player. Thks.

some audio/video clips will not work without windows media player... i would leave it, it is not doing any harm unless your disk space is extremely low and you can always delete the shortcuts from your start menu if you want...

if you want to remove it however, go to start>contol panel> add/remove programs and look for it in the list, then click on it and click remove
