Exclamation Need Some Help With My Screen PLZ

Hi, im new to the site and im hoping im posting this in the right place.

When i got on my computer today i notced that a little more than half my start bar and everything from a certain point on my screen to the left is somewhere off screen. My mouse can go off screen and click the icons etc. but i cant see them. I can barely get the start bar. Its just like part of my screen was cut off and the rest stretched over to take its place. Could someone please help this is a big problem for me. Thanks for the help if you can.

PS: This also happens when i try to play a game on my computer....Part of the screen i just cant see.

What about monitor adjustment., like centreing.

if you can try another monitor, it will tell you if it is the monitor, or graphics card.

Just a point.
details of graphics card, and monitor may help.

Another way to check if it's the monitor, is to increase the brightness and check if the raster actually goes to the edges of the screen,

if so it is video card problem , if not, then it's monitor

I really have no idea how to do either of those things. I have an ATI 9250 Saphire PCI card. Fairly new, sadly. The idiots at dell didnt feel it important to give me any other video card slots. At all.

Are you sure it's PCI? as I thought all those cards were AGP x8
