Question cant eject external devices

Dear computer experts....
All of the sudden, icon in the taskbar dealing with inserted flash memory or other USB devices, ceased to exist. Also in "My Computer" if I click right button on that device (device itself still works) and than "eject" also nothing happens. Task bar from "task bar and start menu" is also fuc*ed up, so I cant click "restore defaults", or just find a command and say "always show".
So, now I have to turn of the computer to eject flash which is very frustrating, and I really have no time to reinstall the whole Windows.
Ideas?

Re: cant eject external devices

Repair Taskbar

As to the hardware try start > Control Panel > Add Hardware

Hi

You can also access your taskbar settings by:

>Start>ControllPanel>TaskbarAndStartmenu

GoodLuck..
