Nowadays, the check disk function says its clean after looking at only 2 phases, instead of 4, like it used to. Is there a setting that can be switched, so that it switches to 2 phases from 4? Curious, Thanx.

chkdsk /f usually runs through 3 steps.

chkdsk /r usually runs through 5 steps.

Other /flags may run through less.
