Angry Indexing the save favorites in IE7

Has anyone found out how to index the "save Favorites" in IE7? I cannot find anything on it at MS (No Suprise) and the only way I found that works is moving the favorites to another folder and reloading them back into the favorites folder in the exact order by name. There MUST be a better way!!!

Re: Indexing the save favorites in IE7

Can you describe in more detail what it is you want to do?

If you right click within any Favorites folder there is an option to "Sort by Name".

Is this what you mean?

Re: Indexing the save favorites in IE7

I know about that. The problem is that it does not work when adding to favorites in IE7. I have a lot of favorite folders with sub folders and more subfolders. IE7 shows ALL of them when you try to select one of them. And they are in order of installation date which makes a real mess. I would like to keep them in name order.

Re: Indexing the save favorites in IE7

Here is a similar thread (I think):

IE7 'Add a Favorite' sort order.

Unfortunately there was no solution short of not using sub-folders.

I searched a lot of links in the above thread and found no other solution.
