I'm getting an "Invalid video mode" error when I try and play a game...

I have the latest DirectX 9.0 installed on my Windows XP.. and I've just re-installed it twice and rebooted, but still the same error. The game is iSnooker, I've tried everything help needed please.

please display the error if you can so i can figure out the problem better

Cheers, The errors come as two pop ups.. the first pop up I explained in post 1.. and the second one says.. "could not create the device 3d Object"..

And won't let me open the game, which is iSnooker as I've said.

soz lol i kinda didnt notice am well il check the game out now and post what i figuire out coas iv never known it and id like to know how old is your pc and even moer specificly your video card details
1 more thing are you running windows vista?

It's a lap top with no video card just drivers.. and I'm on XP.

dude you must atleast haev a intergrated video card lol if you have no video card at all then there is your reason but i bet you do have a intergrated one just arent familiar with it

It's a SiS661x video driver my Laptop uses.. the startup file had become damaged, I re-installed it through the manufacturer's official site and it's working again.

Just as I explained, the video driver needed re-installed again from my Laptop's official website.. I did it and now the game's working again.

so you mean everything works now?
