okayy well i windows live messenger isent working neither is music programs and other programs. when i try to delete or download something it says

the windows installer service could not be accessed . this error can occue if windows is in safe mode or if windows installer is not installed correctly.

anyways i dont know were to go from now :S

if you have the original windows cd you can repair your windows instalation because i think yuod know if your in safe mode if you are in safe mode you have white letters in the corners of the screen saying Safe Mode and if so then reboot your pc and it should work if it doesnt show anything yuo need to repair windows

error code 800401f3

help i cant log onto windows live messenger and also i cant get on certain programs like music ones , i just got my computor fixed because the colour had broke but some other stuff are still not working i think everything was reinstalled but im not sure

an error code keeps coming up saying error code 800401f3 and im not sure how to fix it i've tryed plenty of things but nothing seems to be working please help

If this is a new problem:

You might try a System Restore to a point prior to your problem:

start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore



Another general easy fix:

Go to Start/Run and type in:

regsvr32 /i shell32

Click OK.

Restart your computer.


What is the make and model of your computer? Were all the drivers reinstalled?
