Cannot Boot up - Please help

Computer was running slow so I rebooted it. Now it is stuck on the black
screen where I can select normal start-up or safe mode. It counts down
the seconds but freezes at that screen, no matter which option I select.
Computer is set up to boot from floppy and I have a 6 disk set I made/used a
few years ago - when trying to boot from the first disk I get an error
message for bootini. I have tried to download a new set of disks but when I
try I get 99% downloaded and an error message that the disk is not
large enough - using a 1.44 floppy which is what you are to use. I tried
using the start-up disk but can't change directories from the A: Any
help would be greatly appreciated.

Try accessing the BIOS, usually its F1 and change what you want to boot from first.

Re: Cannot Boot up - Please help

Computer won't go past the start-up/safe mode screen, F1 just freezes the computer.
The delete key did not work either.
But I'll keep trying if anyone else has suggestions

Re: Cannot Boot up - Please help

F2 is sometimes also the key to enter bios, try repeatedly pressing this as you first turn on your computer, then look for "boot sequence" use the keyboard keys to move the hard drive (C) to the top of the list, press Esc, chose to save the changes and exit...

If that doesnt help, do you have a windows disk?
