I get to the screen that says start in safe mode, safe mode for networking etc., but nothing happens it just re-starts the computer. I have gone through this a few times but nothing. It wont start by inserting the start up disk, its dont thing its corrupted since it was working find before this attempted install. whats next

What is the exact Satellite model?

Toshiba might have a hotkey for repair options.

Can you get into the BIOS Setup?

If so set your CD drive to boot prior to the hard drive then the start up disk should work.
