Scan files with multiple virus scanners than just one

I'm not sure if these sites have been posted before but I guessed I would share these sites in case they haven't.

The sites below scan files with multiple scanners than just one and they are always updated. Only bad thing is they have a 10 Mb file limit.

Re: Scan files with multiple virus scanners than just one

Yeah, both have been around for a couple years but usually you see mention of one, or the other. Now they are here in a single post for a fresh reminder.

The 10mb limit seems like a problem, but I rarely find a suspicious file near that size. The reason why is most ISPs have a 10Mb, or even less, attachment size limit for emails. So, if badguys want their malware distributed, they must ensure it can be done so easily.

Of course, thieves that like to steal copyrighted music and video files over P2P networks subject themselves and others to embedded malware. This is why I always recommend folks stay away from ALL such places. Avoidance is the best preventative measure.
