hi all
can anyone help me i want to set a picture as my desktop background but each time i try i get this message
this operation has been canceled due to restrictions in effect on this computer please contact your administrator
what does it mean and can i change it

Reason: accidently sent it before finishing
if you've got it on the machine just right click on the picture and you should see in the menu Set as Desktop Background just click on that ans it should be you desktop

i have the picture in my pics file and yes ive done as you have said and nothing happens
when i try to take a pic off an internet site i get the restrictions message
i have had this problem since i had to do a full system recovery a few weeks ago maybe thats were my problem lies
oh to pc literate !!!
can you change the background by going start......Settings........Control Panel ....Display....Desktop?
have you got admin rights?
why did you need to do a system restore, did you have a virus or spyware on your machine?
Please follow the instructions >> Here << and then post your log in a new thread in the Spyware, Adware section. (Not here please). with a brief explanation of what the symptoms are.
