HD full up

Can you explain why my HD shows shows 99.9% full when I know it is only half full, and what I can do to fix it.
This is the second time it's happend. The first time I had it fixed by a computer Technician, he reloaded Windows XP, I don't have the know how, or the funds to keep employing computer buffs. Thanks.

Re: HD full up

Only one HD. Very little in the way of files. The drive went from half full to full for no apparent reason.

Re: HD full up

you must have some large files.

if you go to my docs have a look for some large files also have a look in windows for some very large files

to find large files go

start.....search...files and folders.......all files and folders.......(size) over 1MB then search
