Computer reboots with certain commands

Hi,
I am aware that there is a virus in my machine. Some queer things have been happeneing. If someone in the remote villages of India were to see the behaviour of this machine, they might say that the machine has been possesed by an evil spirits.
Anyways, here are some symtoms
- when i do start -> run -> cmd , the comp restarts
- when i do start->run-> regedit, i get a message " regedit disabled by administrator" and the computer reboots
- When I install exe files from the net, the machine does not allow it and just restarts when i click on the "save option"

I ran McAfee virus scan, it scanned many files, and they all have been deleted now. However the problem is still there.

Please , I can really use help !!

Amitoj

Re: Computer reboots with certain commands

Right click my computer>properties>advanced tab>start up and recovery "settings">system failure "untick automatically restart".

Might help get more info on problem or control of reboots.

Also try and follow the links in above post...
